One of the most obvious treatments for bad breath is to follow the advice we’ve been given ever since we our first tooth appeared: brushing and flossing. Brushing your teeth twice a day should in most cases be enough to maintain a decent oral odor.

Tip: Don’t forget to brush your tongue, cheeks and gums carefully as well.

If you also floss your teeth regularly, you’ll most likely get rid of most of the bacteria that cause bad breath. By regularly, I mean at least once a week – ideally twice or three times a week.

Tip: Dip your floss in some mouthwash. This can make the flossing more effective. Don’t forget to rinse after both brushing and flossing.
