If you’ve ever caught a cold or been sick for a few days – especially with a throat or lung condition – you’re probably aware that illness and infections can cause quite the killer breath. These conditions can be more or less anything – from the trivial cold to serious cases of mouth cancer.

What these conditions have in common is that they all produce some kind of “waste” that works wonders for ruining your breath; mostly slime, but blood and other kinds of debris also occur.

If you’re concerned that your bad breath may be caused by a medical condition, you should contact your doctor and/or dentist.
